Real Estate is Changing

We believe in the fundamental principles of the right to choose.   That consumers can & do make informed decisions on the type of representation, and whom they choose to represent them in a real estate transaction. We believe that real estate is a relationship based business and that REALTORS® are more than transactional fiduciaries.

The Office of the Superintendent of Real Estate (OSRE) has published the latest amendments to the Real Estate Rules for feedback.  During the last consultation only 235 members of the public had a voice, and that voice helped inform some significant changes that has the potential to limit a consumers ability to work with the REALTOR® they choose.

Last week additional new rules have been introduced, one of the in particular impacts a consumers right to choose, as this may be taken away by another consumer.  We are asking for the public to take the time to provide feedback to do so, prior to April 20, 2018 at 6:00pm.
